GIVE YOUR KIDS A WEALTH SNOWBALL THIS CHRISTMAS!
It’s now only a little over 12 weeks to Christmas!
Okay, so we live in Australia, where Christmas occurs in summer, but we can still love all of the winter aspects associated with the festive season.
Imagine giving your children a wealth snowball for Christmas! We know what you’re thinking: there’s no way you can afford to help your kids build wealth right now (especially with Christmas approaching!). Maybe in a few years right?
Well, what if instead of spending hundreds of dollars on new toys to replace the old toys, you put that money towards their first ever investment portfolio.
And lets not forget that the best time to invest was 20 years ago. The second-best time is now. None of us can go back 20 years, but what about our kids? We have young kids, and we are fortunate to be in positions where we can invest for our kids, just like we wish our parents had done for us. So, what about you this Christmas?
With as little outlay as a cost of a coffee a day you can potentially set your kids up for life. Imagine, day after day, week after week, month after month, and year after year, you’re creating a wealth snowball for them. The Christmas present that keeps on giving!
As your kids grow, and grow more interest in money, they can track their wealth snowball, try to anticipate how big it will be when they’re adults. Start a conversation with them and get them thinking about all the different ways the money (wealth) could be used. Surely that is something worth pursuing and to be proud of.
We’ll say it again, if you’re in a position to start investing just a few dollars a day for each of your children, fast forward a few decades and you may well have amassed hundreds of thousands (maybe millions) of dollars for them!
Have we sold you? Yes? Ok then… what’s the next step you ask?
Jump into Module 6 of our Wages to Wealth program and go to “Investing for kids”. In here you will find all the guidance you need, along with simple steps to take action, including investment recommendations you can consider (specifically for kids). You don’t need to be financially savvy to make this happen for the people who matter most to you.
Let’s make this Christmas the one that really does keep on giving!
